Terms of Sale & Reservation Policy
Here at A&M Fairytale Farms, we are dedicated to breeding show-quality Lamancha and Recorded Grade Dairy goats and managing our herd in a way that allows each animal to reach its full potential. We value our customers and strive to provide not only quality animals, but also a positive and transparent buying experience.
Reservations & Deposits
We offer reservations on planned breeding’s. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a breeding and will be applied toward the final purchase price of the kid.
We reserve the right to retain any animal born that we feel is best suited for our breeding program, regardless of prior reservations. If a reserved breeding is retained, the deposit may be transferred to another breeding or refunded.
If you are notified that your reserved kid is available and you choose not to move forward with a purchase, the deposit is forfeited.
Payment Timeline
Once you are notified of your kid’s birth, full payment is due within 48 hours. Failure to submit payment within that time frame will result in the animal being offered to other interested buyers.
After full payment is received, buyers have 30 days to arrange pickup. After 30 days, a $10 per day boarding fee per kid will apply until pickup occurs.
Accepted payment methods include:
- Venmo
- Zelle
- Cash (pickup only)
- Credit Cards (pickup only)
All payments must be received, deposited, and cleared prior to pickup.
Pickup & Transportation
Experienced buyers may be eligible to pick up kids within the first week of life. Pickup timing is handled on a case-by-case basis, and we ask that buyers maintain open communication.
At this time, we work only with ground transportation companies. We understand that transport delays can happen and will remain flexible when delays are caused by the transporter. We reserve the right to refuse any transporter or transportation arrangement that we feel is not in the best interest of the animal’s health or well-being.
Buyers are responsible for all transportation-related costs, including:
- Transport fees
- CVI (health certificates)
- DNA testing
- Registration and transfer fees
Health certificates are issued per shipment, not per individual animal, and currently cost $40.
Registration Papers
Registration applications are completed once payment is received in full. We submit registrations through American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) and select “bill to buyer.” Buyers are responsible for logging into their ADGA account and paying the registration fees.
Please note that ADGA may experience processing delays. While we will do our best to assist, we cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control.
Microchipping
All goats retained in our herd are microchipped. Buyers may choose to have their kid microchipped in the tail web for an additional $10 fee.
Naming Policy
All goats born under the A&M Fairytale Farms herd name follow a naming tradition. We reserve the right to select a registered name that aligns with our herd naming practices.
Health & Herd Management
We will never knowingly sell animals with health or reproductive defects. Our herd is CAE free, following a strict CAE prevention program with annual testing.
Kids are raised on fresh milk. Fresh water, hay, and Kalmbach Medicated Kid Grower offered at free choice starting at 2 weeks old.
Our strict coccidia prevention program. Kids receive CDT vaccination in utero, at disbudding, and again three weeks later.
All kids are highly socialized from birth through adulthood.
Health Guarantee & Defect Policy
We guarantee the health, care, and management of our animals at the time they leave our farm. Once an animal leaves our care, we cannot guarantee future performance or management outcomes.

If at any time you are unable to keep an animal from us, we reserve the right of first refusal.
